What Is Real Estate Investing?

Real estate investing is the act of an individual committing to provide an amount of funds to purchase property with the intention to generate income in the future. It is through the legal ownership of the property including full possession, rights and control of the property that the individual is allowed to earn an income from the property.
This is done by renting the property out or leasing the property to achieve what is known as capital appreciation. This is a popular form of income generation for individuals. There are a number of methods and ways in which an investor can participate in the real estate market including owning the property or share investor of the property. Property real estate investing can also be in a form of land rather than a house or an apartment.
